The 15 Emotional Drivers of Brand Experience
Explore fifteen motivational dimensions as lenses for developing testable brand strategy hypotheses.
Overview
Customers consider more than price and functionality. Feelings such as security, belonging, desire and curiosity can affect their interpretation of brands. HX OS organizes possible drivers into a structured diagnostic framework. Its scores are exploratory models, not psychological diagnoses or validated forecasts.
Key considerations
The fifteen lenses used here are Acquisition, Desire, Status, Comparison, Rebellion, Compulsion, Convenience, Spontaneity, Security, Freedom, Belonging, Curiosity, Reward, Fun and Love. Each is an interpretive dimension; none independently proves why a person purchased.
Practical application
Choose the two or three dimensions most relevant to the immediate decision. For each, record the evidence, hypothesis, proposed action and validation metric. For instance, reduced trust during checkout might justify clearer conditions and stronger product evidence.
Limitations
AI-generated indicators may reflect biased inputs, insufficient data or assumptions. Do not present model scores as scientifically calibrated probabilities without independent testing.
